“Steve VanDewark was recommended to us by a mutual friend whom we know to have a bit of the “perfectionist” bug. That’s fine with me, because I am afflicted with the same ailment. We used large travertine tiles on the shower walls. They had to be wrapped around windows and the tile filled in to corners. The way Steve did it, it looks like all the tile was laid, then the windows cut out. All lines match up and make perfect sense. Anything less would have rankled me like a crooked picture on a wall. I didn’t have to ask Steve to do this, it’s just the way he works. On top of all of this, his crew cleaned the construction area at the end of each day and they were always respectful of the fact that they were in our personal space.
